Priced right, the Ion delivers hand-laminated fiberglass construction with an interior created from the top marine-vinyl. Just like the Ion’s larger counter parts, the interior is ergonomically crafted for exquisite comfort and easy operation. Hand crafted by marine craftsmen with the best marine equipment the Ion delivers a blend of product longevity and elegance.
Like other Go-Float electric boats, the Ion features a proven drive system offering years of trouble free fun with minimal maintenance. The stainless steel BeachBuddy system protects the running gear, makes vertical storage a snap and allows for the optional wheel kit for easy transportation. Steering and throttle is in one hand, with a thumb switch located in the steering arm that controls the on/off function to the motor. With five forward speeds and two reverse speeds the Ion is an easily piloted electric boat.
Without any fluids to maintain, there are no oil changes and winterization is simply a matter of removing the battery. Rated for a maximum rider weight of 150 pounds, the Ion is the perfect electric boat for all members of the family providing a quiet ride and versatility at a great price.
