Go-Float’s Impulse is based on our first platform, a single-rider twelve-volt  system featuring comfortable amenities such as a plush interior, waterproof stereo system, storage compartments, bimini tops, rod holders, and deck color options.

Unlike traditional rotocast paddleboats, the Impulse electric boat utilizes the latest in fiberglass construction with a hull and deck created from the same high quality materials as the finest runabouts. The plush interior is hand shaped by marine craftsmen using the best marine vinyls, cushiony easy drain upholstery foams and industrial adhesives. The combination of top quality materials and excellent craftsmanship provide for a long lifespan and a superb fit and feel.

Our electric boats are powered with a proven drive system designed to deliver years of trouble free boating with minimal maintenance. The convenient stainless steel BeachBuddy guard protects the running gear, makes vertical storage a snap and provides a platform for the optional wheel kit making easy transportation a reality.

Go-Float electric boats are easy to operate, the Impulse’s steering and throttle is in one hand. A thumb switch located in the steering arm commands the on/off operation of the motor while the adjacent power dial offers five forward speeds and two reverse speeds. The simple steering system consists of a lever moving in a 90◦ range allowing the Impulse a high level of maneuverability.

Without fluids to change winterization is simply a matter of removing the batteries. The Impulse battery compartment stores multiple batteries that can be easily removed in a matter of seconds.
